Last night during American Idol, President Graham Spanier was spotted in the audience of American Idol, which was being filmed in Los Angeles, CA. Spanier was seated between show host Ryan Seacrest's father and sister. Spanier explained in an email to StateCollege.com's Adam Smeltz that the two had become acquainted because Seacrest's father is an alumnus of Penn State.

The 16th annual Noche Latino, an event put together by the Latino Caucus, will kick off tonight at 8:00 pm in HUB Heritage Hall. Noche Latino is one of the largest Latino events at Penn State. Two students will be elected Mr. and Mrs. Latino tonight in a scholarship competition that includes three main components: a monologue, a talent, and a question and answer period.

The Interfraternity Council will convene tonight and interview the four presidential tickets in this year's UPUA election. The event begins at 9:00 pm in 101 Thomas. The IFC has published an open letter in advance of the meeting outlining its expectations for a chosen UPUA ticket.
