The Community Help Centre downtown is hosting a benefit concert at the State Theatre on Thursday November 8th. Featuring acts from house DJs Tawa & Atomisk to indie rockers Flashback Forward, the show hopes to promote the many services provided by the non-profit resource center. With all the big name musicians coming to Penn State this fall, we want to highlight some of the smaller, local acts around State College. This week, we talk to local rapper Tony Black, who just dropped his latest video with Genuinezo called “Rolling”
Indie-punk outfit Crocodiles are coming to State College. The show at Chronic Town on September 30th -- presented by Penn State’s Students Organizing the Multiple Arts (SOMA) and local music promoter Roustabout -- will feature the San Diego-based Crocodiles, State College local rockers Flashback Forward (who made moves over the summer), and the little-known Philly indie band Swiss Alps.
