HUB Movie Review: Paranormal Activity 3

I went into this week's HUB movie fully expecting it to be as disappointing as its predecessors. Low budget films with a few effects thrown in, but not really living up to the title of being a horror movie. But Paranormal Activity 3 actually made me jump out of my seat.

Penn State Website FINALLY Getting A Makeover

Sad news for lovers of small cyan font made hard to read by a darker blue background: Yesterday, the Penn State website (www.psu.edu) added a “we’re updating” logo to the front page. Promising to “transform Penn State’s home on the web,” the new blog storyboard.psu.edu will guide students through the small changes being made to the website in the coming months.

Actors To Put On Benefit For HIV/AIDS Treatment

This month, Penn State students have the opportunity to support charities through song and dance other than THON. Tonight, Penn State Thespians will present MasquerAIDS 2012, an evening of musical numbers from films in order to raise money for the AIDS Project of Centre County. The theme this year will be “From Screen to Scene,” and Thespians will perform segments and songs from Armageddon, Shrek, Titanic, Toy Story 3 and more.

Former PSU Quarterback Transfers to Temple

A familiar face may be manning the Temple offense when the Owls travel across the state to Beaver Stadium on September 22. It was officially announced today that former Penn State quarterback Kevin Newsome has signed on with Temple and will be eligible to compete during the 2012 season.
