Lion Ambassadors Open Old Main To The Public

The Penn State Lion Ambassadors offered students a unique experience Wednesday as they held their annual Old Main Open House on Wednesday, opening up the university's most prestigious building to the public in a not-so-serious setting while dropping some Penn State knowledge on those who attended. No Refund Theatre Presents: Life x 3

You know those times when your friends are telling you a story about a party last night, or some other crazy incident, and one explains what happened, and then the other is like, “He/She is soooooo full of shit, this is what REALLY happened.” And then if there is a third, they chime in about how things really went down, and you just sit there, angrily confused because your friend’s are so damn incompetent, forcing you to pick who is most believable.

Well if you don’t, Penn State’s No Refund Theatre is offering you the opportunity to get a taste of what such a quandary may look like in their performance of “Life x 3.”

Penn State Student Returns On National Theatre Tour

Penn State theatre major Jim Hogan returned to Penn State on the Eisenhower stage as part of the national theatre tour production of the musical Spring Awakening. Hogan, who was a freshman last year majoring in theatre, took the year off to travel with the show. An honorable introduction was given prior to the show informing the audience of Hogan's Penn State ties. A few weeks ago the Daily Collegian offered a preview of Hogan's return to Penn State. Spring Awakening, the Tony award winner for best musical in 2007,  brought out a packed house Tuesday and Wednesday  night.

Nittany Lion Softball Loses Three in a Row

The softball team’s last six games were against Big Ten Conference schools, with four of those six coming this past week. Despite a first game win against Michigan State, the team lost their next three games. The team started their week’s set of games on Wednesday, traveling to Michigan State for a doubleheader. In game one, both teams had double digit hits, but Cassidy Bell’s grand slam in the fourth inning helped Penn State win 8-6. Find out what happened in the team's next three games after the jump.
