Jared Sullinger and the number-one ranked Ohio State Buckeyes come to Happy Valley looking to secure a top seed in both the Big Ten Tournament next week and the Big Dance. But why should you make your way to the BJC at 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday to cheer the flawed DeChellis regime? Here are some reasons:

The EΨ chapter of the Order of Omega is back at Penn State. Order of Omega is an honor society for fraternity and sorority upperclassmen. Chartered in 1984, Penn State's chapter lay dormant for a sizeable stretch of time. But this semester, Order of Omega is having a second go at its débutante ball.
With elections for the next assembly of the University Park Undergraduate Association fast approaching, the deadline to register for candidacy falls even sooner. Some may be considering running for a representative position, but still are not completely sure. If you still need some convincing, here are a few reasons that may sway you.
Looking for something that looks great on a resume? Then by all means, run for a spot on the University Park Undergraduate Association. But if you're actually one of those young idealists who's hoping to make an impact on the Penn State community, your efforts might be better served elsewhere. It's not UPUA's fault that they're largely a committee without significant authority--I can't imagine a student government at any level that would be tasked with making legitimate, important decisions that would actually affect any college or university. With billions of dollars, thousands of jobs, and worldwide prestige on the line, it would be foolish to give students more than nominal control. You can't have the inmates running the asylum.
On a night many Penn Staters were stumbling down College Avenue dressed in green, music filled Alumni Hall in the HUB. The International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella Mid-Atlantic Quarterfinals played host to 10 ensembles, vying for the top two spots and a place in the semifinals.
Penn State PRIDE. Sportsmanship Initiative are holding an event in the HUB today from 10am-3pm to promote good sportsmanship among Penn State fans. PRIDE. are asking fans to sign their pledge to promise to treat opponents with respect and foster good relationships with opposing fans. The organization, now in their second year, aim to perpetuate the traditions of Penn State University and ensure a welcoming environment for all fans, regardless of affiliation.
