
Two downtown State College businesses announced over the weekend that they are temporarily closing because of concerns about the coronavirus pandemic.

An inspection found three total violations within the store relating to the "gross unsanitary condition of conducting tattooing of a food employee on a dough food prep table during times of operation."

The bar has postponed its popular end-of-the-school-year marathon promotion for the first time since 55 Days kicked off in 2008.

The Pennsylvania Bureau of Food Safety and Laboratory Services found 11 total violations within the store, including improper employee hand-washing techniques, unclean bathrooms and working areas, and improper food storage.

Despite a small rise from 2019's statistics, this year's State Patty's continued a trend of lowering crime since 2011.

The fast-food chain is temporarily closed due to a broken water heater.
