To reward and thank dancers for their seemingly herculean efforts, local businesses are offering specials and perks to those who poured their time and effort into the fight against childhood cancer.

Champs is playing the THON live stream on a bunch of the TVs throughout the bar in addition to its normal sports programming, and is also planning a no-cover THON afterparty for Sunday.
Mayor Don Hahn spoke to the dancers on the THON stage to kick off the weekend well. As a former THON dancer, Hahn inspired all of the BJC and will be renaming State College the "City of THON" at 6 p.m. Friday.
