
Twenty-two-year-old Penn State student Andrew Magargle died yesterday morning after falling from the Fraser Street Parking Deck.

Finals week is arguably the worst time to find a place to study on campus or around town. The Patee-Paterno Library is constantly full and good luck studying at a noisy place like Starbucks, but what if one of State College's hidden gems was right under your nose all along? Meet the Schlow Centre Region Library located on the corner of Allen Street and Beaver Avenue. You may know it as the CATA stop on Beaver Avenue across from the Phyrst, but you probably have no idea the resources that it provides.

It's already starting to look like a winter wonderland in downtown State College this afternoon. The State College Borough Manager has declared it a snow emergency, and all cars much be removed from street parking until the snowfall stops so crews can clean the streets.

There are many pizza places in State College, but Pizza Heaven on 1101 N. Atherton St. might be the most unique. The shop only has one employee in owner, cook, cashier, cleaner, and everything in between Tom Gibson, making him the de facto "Pizza God".

Approaching the corner of College Ave. and Allen Street, you are usually expected to be greeted by the sights of the Corner Room and the bustle of students running late to class, but not on this day. Two individuals are about to have a showdown not seen since the Wild West. This is the battle of the charity bells.
