Confirmed: Football Series with UCF Set for 2013, 2014

According to Paul Tenorio of the Orlando Sentinel, Penn State and the University of Central Florida will begin a 2-year football series beginning in the 2013 season with the Knights coming to Beaver Stadium on September 14th.

Former Penn State All-American Dave Robinson Elected to Pro Football Hall of Fame

Former Penn State All-American offensive and defensive end Dave Robinson was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame this weekend, the sixth Penn Stater to ever attain that status. Robinson, a 1962 All-American for Rip Engle's Nittany Lions, was a three-year letterwinner at Penn State. Joe Paterno was also an assistant coach that year. Robinson was drafted in the first round (14th overall) in the 1963 NFL draft and enjoyed a 12-year career as a linebacker for the Packers and the Redskins.

Eric Shrive Named Rare Disease Champion

Eric Shrive, who has raised over $70,000 for Lift for Life over his first four years at Penn State, has been named Rare Disease Champion by Uplifting Athletes.
