The Purdue Boilermakers (1-8, 0-5) are coming to town on Saturday to take on our Penn State Nittany Lions (5-4, 2-3) at 12 p.m. The teams last played in 2012, with Matt McGloin burning the Boilermakers for 321 yards and two touchdowns in a 34-9 blowout win. He would go on to play for two years in the NFL with the Dolphins, but he made his legacy on the gridiron here in Happy Valley. We caught up with Bannon to talk Nittany Lion football, life after leaving Happy Valley, and his playing days.

Game Day Observations: Minnesota

Minneapolis isn't your average Big Ten town, nor are the Gophers your average Big Ten team this year. It was cold, it wasn't particularly exciting football, and the result stunk, but TCF Bank Stadium is certainly an interesting place to watch a game.
