Another week, another big splash in recruiting for new Penn State head coach Bill O'Brien. And this one might be the biggest one yet. Tight end Adam Breneman from Camp Hill, Pa (5 miles from Harrisburg) announced his decision to attend Penn State from the Cedar Cliff High School gymnasium in an event that was open to the public.

Watch out recruiting world. Bill O'Brien is not messing around. Penn State's head coach made that mighty clear yesterday as he secured his first two verbal commitments for the Class of 2013. The first one came in the form of a four star quarterback from Fort Union, Virginia, Christian Hackenberg.

Labeled as the creator of "The Greatest Show In College Football," Guido D'Elia's time at Penn State came on an end on Monday in another housecleaning move by Penn State to transition into the O'Brien era. Mixed reactions greeted the move, but given the constant criticism I've seen Guido take from fans, I wanted to share my own opinion on his time at Penn State as someone who had the opportunity to work with Guido on a number of occasions through my involvement with Paternoville.

According to a report from FightOnState.com, Guido D'Elia has been relieved of his duties as Director of Football Communications and Branding. D'Elia was hired in 2004 to rejuvenate a fan base and transform the game-day atmosphere at Beaver Stadium.

Over a week ago, Onward State broke the story about "The Joe We Know", a film exploring Joe Paterno's Grand Experiment featuring over seventy former Penn State Lettermen was set to premiere in the State Theatre last weekend. Starting today and continuing through next Wednesday, there will be twelve more opportunities to view the film.

A strength coach will normally fly under the radar. They rarely do conference calls during a season and will never be mentioned the day after a loss for making a bad play call or not being prepared; however, when it comes to off-season conditioning, it is their time to shine.
