Bobby Walter -- who served as the Homecoming Public Relations Director this past year -- was named as the new 2013 Executive Director on Monday. Penn State senior Matt Besong recently developed Fight on State, an iPhone app featuring the Penn State Blue Band that was released today. The premise of the game is help the drum major land his signature pregame flip. There's one catch, though -- the football team is still on the field, and charging at the drum major at an alarming rate!

Malcolm Moran, the Knight Chair of Sports Journalism and Society for Penn State's John Curley Center for Sports Journalism, is leaving Penn State. Effective in January 1, Moran will assume the role of director of the National Sports Journalism Center located in Indianapolis and associated with the Indiana University School of Journalism.
