
For one night and one night only, the Center for Women Students will host an event called Sexversations ® in the HUB. Stop by Heritage Hall at 6:30 p.m. tonight to see your student activity fee at work, and to join in on healthy conversations about sex and related topics.

Penn State students' tendency to celebrate good times was on full display this week. So, we decided to make a playlist for you to keep those celebrations rolling by bringing back Music Monday.

Last year, the Color Run swept through campus when over 10,000 people participated in the "Happiest 5k on the Planet" (in the Happiest of Valleys, I might add). This year, Homecoming brought the event back for a second round, and the Color Runners spent the morning hustling through campus in a rainbow-tinted blur.

Orange Is The New Black fans, mark your calendars. Laverne Cox is coming to campus to speak on October 8 during National Coming Out Week, sponsored by the LGBTA (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Ally) Student Resource Center (SRC) on October 8 at 7 pm.

Bella Bregar, a retired special education teacher from the State College area, has been working to raise funds for her non-profit organization, the Benjamin Plum Farm.
"I had been a special-ed teacher for 37 years and have always had a passion for working with the autistic and special needs population," Bregar said. "I always kept in touch with my students after graduation and found that services drop off severely after 22. "

Every Wednesday evening, I walk into 302 HUB and take a seat at the media table at the back of the room. UPUA Speaker John Wortman walks towards me shortly after, agendas in hand, passing me a freshly-printed packet as we near the assembly meeting's 8 p.m. start time.
