Penn State, you flatter me. Thanks to UPUA, I can now pick up phone chargers at the Library. Last night in the HUB, I was startled when I saw the latest innovation to reach our campus. Student Affairs has installed four charger boxes on the first floor of the HUB. Each box contains eight chargers cables that can power cell phones and iPods.
The UPUA 7th Assembly is now finalized following their confirmation of an executive board at their Wednesday evening general assembly meeting. It was a somewhat tedious process, but they were able to confirm all six positions on the board after a brief speech from each nominated member, a question-and-answer period, a discussion amongst the assembly, and a secret vote.
This is getting ridiculous. Another night, another time getting left behind by my friends for the bars. Such is the life of the 20 year old. I am one of those unfortunate souls who have been and will be 20 for the entirety of junior year of college. At this point in the year, it’s really goddamn annoying.
We all know about "please" and "thank you." Those are common courtesies we exchange with one another on a daily basis. Let's get into a few campus courtesies because they seem to be on the decline.
The UPUA office in 314 HUB got a new addition today, in the form of a poster of former president TJ Bard.
All my life I have been that socially awkward person standing in the back of the room. Now that I am at college I discovered.... well, some things don't change much. My freshman year is almost over at Penn State and I've spent all my time indoors eating Ramen noodles and reading my math textbook.
