THON just announced the 2015 Executive Committee. Congratulations to those selected to lead THON next year.

A month ago today, THON 2014 concluded with a record-breaking total reveal of $13,343,517.33, and tonight THON 2015 began with the announcement that Megan Renaut will lead the largest student-run philanthropy in the world for the next year.

Lights. Camera. Cure.: The Hollywood Dance Marathon had its most successful year yet, raising $80,820.59 For The Kids. The total was announced last night after a six-hour dance marathon at the Avalon Theatre in the heart of Hollywood.

While Penn State may hold a dance marathon that’s the largest student-run philanthropy in the world, it doesn’t hold the only dance marathon. There are many universities across America that fundraise in a year-long effort, have executive committees, and dance for hours on hours — just like we do — in support of all sorts of great causes. Here are a few we’ve ranked as the top fundraisers.

Applications for the THON Executive Committee are now available on THON.org under the Documents section and are due by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 28 in 210 HUB.

Here are just a few of the new families who came to THON this year, and what they thought after walking into the BJC for their very first time as a Four Diamonds family with their brand-new org.
