When one thinks of the type of emergency that an EMT would respond do, thoughts of a heart attack, stroke, or car accident come to mind, not alcohol conumption; however, that is exactly what led to the frightening phrase "No medic available." that was used over the past few editions of State Patty's Day.
Welp, THON 2012 is over. We raised a whole lot of money and it was a generally awesome weekend.

The Penn State women's basketball team clinched at least a share of the Big Ten regular season title for the first time since 2004 with an 84-66 win over No. 8/11 Ohio State on Monday night. Three Lady Lions had double-doubles in the dominating victory. Penn State plays its final game of the regular season on Sunday against Minnesota.

While thousands were at the BJC this weekend for THON, a smaller crowd was being wowed by Naturally 7 at the HUB in Alumni Hall on Friday night. The concert was arranged by the Paul Robeson Cultural Center.
Being able to spend the final seven hours of THON on the floor was one of the greatest experiences I will ever have.
