
The Nittany Lions (4-3, 1-2) could use a win after the beating they took in Columbus last Saturday at the hands of Braxton Miller and the Ohio State Buckeyes. With the Illinois Fighting Illini (3-4, 0-3) coming to town tomorrow, there's a good chance that Penn State will get that win and even out its conference record through four Big Ten games.

It's almost time for another football Saturday at Beaver Stadium. These mid-season, weak Big Ten opponents used to be something of a chore for Penn State, but after coming off one of the most crippling losses in program history, every game means something. Ever since Illinois coach Tim Beckman came into State College to recruit after the sanctions were implemented, Penn State has had an unlikely rivalry with the Illini. Although Homecoming weekend -- and the now-legendary win over Michigan -- was only a few weeks ago, it is already time to move towards planning Homecoming 2014. On Monday, Claudia Bonilla was named Homecoming 2014 Executive Director. We met up with Bonilla, who served as Homecoming 2013's OPPerations Director, to ask her a few questions about her new job.
