NCAA Willing To Keep Consent Decree Fine Money In Pennsylvania

The NCAA has formally dropped their lawsuit with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, according to the Associated Press.

The organization asked Commonwealth Court Judge to drop the suit filed by State Senator Jake Corman and Pennsylvania Treasurer Rob McCord late Friday. The NCAA also said that if Covey agrees, they will move to end their federal lawsuit against McCord, Gov. Tom Corbett, and the Commonwealth, which challenged the legality of a 2013 state law that required the fine money to stay in the state.

President Barron, Penn State Leadership Send Letter To Penn State Community Asking For Civility

In a letter and video sent in the middle of the night, President Barron and the rest of Penn State's leadership asked the Penn State community to act with civility when discussing differences of opinion in issues related to the university's handling of the Sandusky scandal.
