
Canning trips are coming and going, THONvelopes are being sent out, and THON 2011 is approaching! Fourteen pairs of THON Captains are going to be on the Eisenhower Auditorium stage contending in the second annual Mr. and Mrs. THON pageant tonight.

With 100 Days 'til THON, Twitter is beginning to go THON crazy. It's an annual thing now.
Over the past three years, the organization has become very adept at using Twitter and Facebook to rally its supporters. Last year THON benefited from @AbolishCancer, @PerezHIlton, and @KhloeKardashian. This year is starting to pick up and THON has begun tapping its resources in even more interesting ways.

Wednesday marks the highly-anticipated 100 Days 'til THON. And how do you count down to the greatest dance marathon in the country? By dancing, of course.

The White Building became a painted palace yesterday afternoon as members of the 13 captain committees and organization members revisited their favorite childhood fairy-tales and stories for "Once Upon a THON," the 13th annual THON Family Carnival.

Earlier this afternoon in the White Building main gymnasium, the Penn State IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon Overall Committee revealed the logo for THON 2011. Designed by Ginsiorsky, the logo features a sailboat with two people looking over the bow.

The Student Red Cross Club is holding a 46-hour Bake Sale this weekend to benefit THON. You’ll be able to satiate your sweet tooth from 6 p.m. on Friday, November 5 nonstop until 4 p.m. on Sunday, November 7 outside Cold Stone Creamery on E. Beaver Ave.
