Penn State Women’s Volleyball Releases 2026 Schedule

Penn State women’s volleyball released its schedule for the 2026 season on Thursday. The Nittany Lions begin their season on August 27 at AT&T Stadium to play in the Spikes Under the Lights Tournament.
The team also has a match at Wrigley Field against Kentucky and one at The Palestra against Stanford.
Penn State’s first home game will be against UConn on August 29. The following two games are on August 30 at the Rec Hall against High Point and Hofstra. The Nittany Lions then travel to Chicago to play Kentucky at Wrigley Field on September 6 and DePaul on September 7. The team then heads to Philadelphia to play Stanford on September 11 at The Plaestra.
The Nittany Lions have four straight home games after Stanford from September 12 to 20. Penn State will host Ohio, Villanova, South Florida, and Tennessee on this stretch.
Following the home games in September, Penn State heads to Michigan to begin conference play. The team takes on the Wolverines on September 25 and then heads to East Lansing to play Michigan State on September 27. After the quick journey to Michigan, the team has another four-home-game stretch starting in October.
The team plays Nebraska on October 1, Iowa on October 3, Northwestern on October 9, and Washington on October 11. Penn State then heads to the West Coast to play UCLA on October 16 and USC the following day. The Nittany Lions quickly return home on October 23 to face Oregon, and then travel to Bloomington to play Indiana on October 25.
Penn State then has two home games against Ohio State on October 29 and Purdue on October 31. The team travels for a four-game stretch from November 6 to November 14. Penn State will play Minnesota, Wisconsin, Maryland, and Illinois during its time away. The Nittany Lions return home for their final regular-season match against Rutgers on November 17.
The team will then play in the Big Ten Tournament starting on November 20.
The Nittany Lions look to take home a national championship after falling short in the second round of the NCAA Tournament against Texas last season. Penn State had the No. 3-ranked recruiting class this offseason, with transfers Ryla Jones, Whitney Lauenstein, and Alexis Stucky. The team also pulled in high-school recruits Haley Burgdorf, Finley Krystkowski, Kendall Northern, and Danielle Whitmire.
