Movin’ On 2009: Overview of the Main Acts

In order to prepare for Movin’ On 2009, Onward State has prepared a primer on the different bands that will be performing. Earlier today, we brought you the scoop on the Battle of the Bands winners. Here are the main acts.

Band Name: Innerparty System
Hometown: Mohnton, Pennsylvania
Members: Patrick (vocals); Kris (guitar, synth, vocals); Jared (drums, vocals); Jesse (synth, samples, vocals)
Sounds Like: A dance remix of Fall Out Boy played 100 years in the future
Time Playing: 7:30 PM – 8:30 PM

Band Name: Laura Reed and Deep Pockets
Hometown: Atlanta, Ga
Members: Laura Reed (Vocals, Rhythm Guitar); Ryan Burns (Keys, Organ); Jimbonk (Drums); Ben Didelot (Bass); Debrissa McKinney (Vocals)
Sounds Like: Funky R&B

Band Name: Person L
