SNL’s Seth Meyers to Perform at BJC
Saturday Night Live comedian and head writer Seth Meyers is set to do a stand-up act at the Bryce Jordan Center at 8 p.m. on September 17. Coming off a big Wednesday night at the ESPY’s, Meyers is ready to get Penn State to “laugh hysterically” in front of what should be a rather large crowd at the BJC.
Meyers has been a member of the SNL cast since 2001, becoming the head writer in 2007. He has also held a successful career as a Weekend Update anchor and is credited with the creation of fellow SNL cast member Tina Fey’s Sarah Palin sketches.
University Park students can see the nine year SNL veteran for $9.99 with a valid PSU student ID courtesy of UPAC. Tickets will be available to the general public Friday, July 30 at 10 a.m. Additional information can be found on the event’s Facebook page.
