Biden Takes Over The HUB

Vice President Joe Biden attended a rally today at the HUB-Robeson Center to address the Penn State community regarding the upcoming legislative elections in November.

Speaking to a crowd of over a thousand students, professors, and townspeople in the HUB, the vice president spoke on behalf of President Obama about the issues that Americans will face when they go to the polls in two months.

Penn State Runs Well at Griak Invitational

Both Penn State's men's and women's Cross Country teams finished vith very respectable 9th place showings in the team scoring this past weekend at the Roy Griak Invitational held at the University of Minnesota.

State College PD Collects Unused Pills

Rush Limbaugh isn't the only one who wants your unused pills. On Saturday, the State College Police Department held an event that offered residents of State College a chance to safely dispose of their unused prescription pills. Residents were able to hand over their pills anonymously at a box in the police department.

This event was part of a nation-wide effort that took place this weekend, coordinated by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).

College Republicans To Hold Rally Near Biden

You’ve probably heard that Vice President Joe Biden is speaking on campus today, but what you may not know is the College Republicans are holding a little rally of their own today in front of the HUB. They will be there most of the day registering new members, handing out information on Republican candidates, and talking to passers-by.
