Rise Against will “Swing Life Away” at the BJC Jan. 29th

In their only planned Pennsylvania stop for 2012, alternative rockers Rise Against will play the Bryce Jordan Center on Sunday, January 29th at 7 p.m.

Coming off a recent stint opening for The Foo Fighters on their current tour, Rise Against will be joined by openers A Day to Remember and The Menzingers.

Student tickets for the show go on sale Wednesday at noon at the HUB, Eisenhower Auditorium, the Penn State Downtown Theatre, and the BJC. With the $10 UPAC-sponsored discount, student general admission floor tickets and event level seating will be sold at $39.50 and $32.50, respectively. Tickets will go on sale to the public Friday at 11 a.m. (11 a.m. on 11/11/11…wow).

Best known for songs such as “Help is on the Way,” “Audience of One” and “Swing Life Away,” the Chicago-based band released their sixth studio album, Endgame, in March. Check out the video for their latest single, “Satellite,” below.
