Libraries Amend Hours for Finals Crunch

Despite limitations on space-imposed closures due to construction in Pattee Library, the library will expand its hours for finals week.

Because construction has taken the Reserved Reading Room offline, the News and Microforms Library has the only space open for the all nighter crowds, leaving some feeling a bit cramped. The current schedule of all libraries closing at 2 a.m. will remain in place for the rest of the week.

However, starting Sunday, December 11, all of the libraries within Pattee and Paterno will be open 24 hours, freeing up more space for studying into the wee hours of the night. This schedule will continue through Thursday night with the library closing Friday at 7 p.m for its winter break schedule.

For a detailed break down of each individual library’s hours, check out the full schedule on the library’s homepage.

If the library isn’t for you, check out some studying alternatives!
