DOTD: Penn State Lives in Philadelphia

The much maligned, unoriginal, and inorganic “Penn State Lives Here” campaign has taken its waste show to Philadelphia.

A video posted by the Penn State Instagram account shows a scrolling marquee on top of a Philadelphia building that tells people that “Penn State Lives Here” — despite the nearest branch campus being 13 miles away.

It’s been awhile since anything regarding our favorite marketing campaign came across our wire, and I would argue that this is the silliest thing that has happened since the Penn State Berks banner unveiling. Nothing will top that one, though.
