Brandon Bell Named Walter Camp Player Of The Week

Brandon Bell earned Walter Camp Player of the Week honors following his huge Senior Day performance against Michigan State.

The Mays Landing, N.J., native recorded a game-high 18 tackles (three solo) as the Nittany Lions advanced to the Big Ten Championship for the first time in program history. Bell finished with 13 more tackles than he had against the Spartans in 2015 and helped move Penn State to 10-2.

At the end of the regular season, Bell has the second most tackles on the defense with 74. Next Saturday’s matchup with Wisconsin will come full circle for Bell as he made his first career start as a true freshman against the Badgers, recording six tackles in 2013.
