SPA Bringing Rock Band PVRIS To Alumni Hall

Up-and-coming rock band PVRIS is coming to Penn State next month, courtesy of the Student Programming Association. The group will perform at 8 p.m. Thursday, February 8 in Alumni Hall.

“Get acquainted with the mysteriously awesome PVRIS before they become the biggest thing in rock,” MTV said about the band. “For fans of The Neighbourhood, CHVRCHES, and Paramore, PVRIS are the best thing since sliced bread.”

Based in Boston, the trio includes vocalist Lynn Gunn, guitarist Alex Babinski, and bassist Brian MacDonald. They’ve recently performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live and have toured with Fall Out Boy and Awolnation.

As with all SPA concerts, the PVRIS performance is free for students with a Penn State ID.
