Even During THON, Penn State Fans Still Hate NCAA & Mark Emmert

In the hour after news about Penn State football players being unable to participate in the THON Explorers program Saturday, Twitter reacted as ferociously as ever. Penn State fans, who have grown to detest the NCAA for a variety of reasons, voiced their frustration with Mark Emmert and Co. in the midst of a weekend focused on giving back to the community.

If Emmert weren’t already on Penn State fans’ short list, this all but reserved his spot next to Keith Olbermann and Sam Darnold.

These ESPN journalists are outspoken proponents for NCAA athletes’ rights, so look out if they take notice.
