The Only ‘Back To Winning’ Playlist You Need

Penn State’s win over Iowa on Saturday may not have been the prettiest win ever, but it was certainly electric — thanks in no small part to Beaver Stadium music man PJ Mullen’s new favorite song: “Mo Bamba” by Sheck Wes.

Mullen evidently caught on to this hippity-hop sensation a few weeks ago, as he worked it into his Beaver Stadium mix during Penn State’s heartbreaking loss to Michigan State. Apparently, he was bit by Sheck Wes’ earworm pretty bad, because he played it nonstop this weekend.

We’re not complaining, though. Mo Bamba is enough to incite a riot at Beaver Stadium, and that is exactly the kind of energy the team needs in the last stretch of home games. Seriously, inject this straight into our veins.

PJ knows just how an earth-quaking beat can even rejuvenate Penn State’s older crowd, who may not be familiar with the lyrical stylings of young Sheck Wes.

In the spirit of playing new, catchy songs on repeat, here is “Mo Bamba” 26 times on a Spotify playlist. Enjoy:
