Extended Hours To Know For Finals Week

Finals week is officially upon us (yikes!).

If you’re like most students, you haven’t started studying and are in for a rough week. Penn State knows that finals week is never easy and has changed a number of hours on campus to suit your weird cravings and needs. Here are the hours you should know this week for CATA, the dining halls, classroom buildings to study in, and the libraries.

CATA Loops

  • Blue Loop: runs until 2:21 a.m. from April 18 – May 4
  • White Loop: runs until 2:15 a.m. from April 18 – May 4

On-Campus Classrooms

Boucke, Hammond, Osmond, Thomas, and Willard Buildings will be open 24 hours for studying until Friday, May 3, when they’ll close at the normal listed times.

Libraries

The Pattee and Paterno Libraries will be open 24 hours and close at 7 p.m. on Friday, May 3. The 24-hour service includes the Knowledge Commons and the Global News Area.

  • Monday – Tuesday: 7 a.m. – 1 a.m.
  • Wednesday: 7 a.m. – midnight.
  • Thursday: 7 a.m. – 11 p.m.
