
Penn State is cancelling, rescheduling, or adapting all non-essential events between now and April 3 due to COVID-19.

The upcoming NCAA men's basketball, men's ice hockey, and wrestling tournaments will be played without fans amid the current coronavirus outbreak.

"The University Park Undergraduate Association acknowledges that these policies will have a significant, disruptive impact on every student, while also acknowledging the need to prioritize the safety of all students," their statement reads.

The university has released extensive information regarding housing closures, online class protocol, and campus events.

The Big Ten tournament will go on as scheduled with fans in attendance, but the conference won't hold press conferences and media briefings in "larger designated areas" of Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
