Edge Coffee Bar Now Serving Starbucks At All Penn State Locations

Ever wanted to skip the dreaded HUB Starbucks line? You might be in luck.

Edge Coffee Bar is now serving Starbucks-branded drinks at each location across Penn State’s campus, dining confirmed this week.

Despite now offering a suite of espressos, iced macchiatos, and lemonades, Edge is currently missing one key item: bagels. Prior to this fall, Penn State Dining had a contract with Irving Farm Coffee for beverages and bagels, which is no more.

Although Edge is currently bagel-less, Penn State said more products will be coming to its locations soon.

“Bagels and frappuccinos will be coming soon, although a date has not been confirmed yet,” food services manager Kevin Johnston said.

When Findlay Commons began undergoing construction in 2016, Edge was included in the plan to renovate the dining area. Most recently, in 2019, Edge opened a new location in Pollock Commons.

“Across all of our retails locations, we review opportunities to expand our offerings constantly,” Johnston said. “We will continue to add new exciting menu items as we are able.”
