[Photo Story] 2022 Allen Street Jam

It’s Homecoming week, folks!

To kick off this year’s busy Homecoming week, students and community members alike gathered on Allen Street for the annual Allen Street Jam. Packed with live music, free food, a dance competition, and more, there was plenty to do and see.

Take a look at some of our favorite photos through our lens from this year’s Allen Street Jam.

Shortly after the event got going, people were drawn to Allen Street by the sound of live music.

Local artists made sure the vibes were high by playing familiar tunes and setting the tone for the afternoon.

Daniel Collins, everyone’s favorite local musician who plays for Caledonia and Lowjack, was fiddlin’ away.

Hungry? Not for long! There were all sorts of free snacks like popcorn, chips, and more.

There was even a snow cone machine!

Those looking for a game were able to play a giant version of Jenga.

If Jenga wasn’t your speed, there was cornhole, too!

Local artist Chip Mock offered free caricatures to those who came to the event.

People seemed to really like how their caricatures turned out.

It’s safe to say this year’s Allen Street Jam was a blast, and it’s just the beginning of so many great Homecoming events to come this week.
