THON Dream Forward Campaign Raises $1,266,034.16 To Kick Off 2023 Total

THON raised $1,266,034.16 over the last two and a half weeks as part of its fourth-ever Dream Forward Campaign. The total, which was revealed in the HUB Wednesday afternoon as part of THON’s “100 Days” celebration, blew past the organization’s goal of $700,000 and is also a new record for the campaign.

Last year, the campaign raised $1,055,836.46, while the totals for the previous two years in 2020 and 2019 were $690,013.53 and $701,331.64, respectively.

THON has been making its way toward its 2023 dance marathon over the last month. The annual THON 5K took place on October 16 with a day full of activities all For The Kids. Then, prior to the start of the 2023 Homecoming parade, the organization announced “Foster The Magic” as THON 2023’s theme.

THON 2023 will kick off on Friday, February 17, and run through Sunday, February 19. The 46-hour dance marathon made its in-person return to the BJC for THON 2022 after operating under a completely virtual format the prior year. THON 2022 raised a record-setting $13,756,374.50 all For The Kids.
