Pickle’s To Hold ‘Country Club’ Night At The Basement April 25
Country Night just got way cooler.
For the final Country Night of the spring semester, Pickle’s is taking over The Basement and hosting a “Country Club” night on Tuesday, April 25. The move is being made to accommodate a larger crowd.
“It’s too popular to have as many people as you want in this bar at one time because we’re just so small,” Pickle’s manager Brittany Mele said. “So, we decided we’re going to take the party elsewhere.”
Due to both establishments being owned by Hotels State College, the change of locations for the night was easy and simply made sense. Even though country music won’t be playing on South Allen Street, the vibe will remain the same on West College Avenue.
The Pickle’s bartenders will still be serving “Pickleback shots,” “Ricky Bobby’s,” and all other fan favorites. The only exception is that no draft beers will be sold, but pounders of Miller Lite and Busch Light will be available to please beer-loving country fans.
As far as music, Adam and the Armadillos is set to perform for the first “three to four” hours of the night. The band recently performed during THON and had the crowd begging for one more song after its original setlist concluded.
Expect a similar Country Night vibe…with a bit of a twist.
“It’s Pickle’s,” Mele said. “Just in a larger location.”
