Former Penn State Football Player Jordan Van Den Berg Transfers To Georgia Tech

Former Penn State football defensive tackle Jordan Van Den Berg announced his decision to transfer to Georgia Tech on Tuesday. Van den Berg spent three seasons at Penn State from 2021-23.

Van den Berg announced he was departing Penn State by way of the transfer portal in late February 2024. A native of South Africa, van den Berg recorded 26 total tackles, 2.5 sacks, and two forced fumbles for Penn State. Last season, he played in 11 games and notched 11 tackles.

Van den Berg was the fifth player to leave Penn State after the 2023 season, along with Dante Cephas, Jace Tutty, Alex Bacchetta, and Cristian Driver.
