Penn State Wrestling To Host Drexel November 17

Penn State wrestling is set to take Drexel on Sunday, November 17, at Rec Hall, per the Dragons released 2024-25 schedule.

The defending national champion Nittany Lions are yet to release the full schedule for its 2024-25 season. However, Penn State is already set to face American University on February 21 at Rec Hall. Penn State has also released its Big Ten opponents for the season.

The weekend of the Drexel meet will be a busy one for Penn State as multiple events will be pulling the team in different directions. Some wrestlers will be competing in the Army Black Knight Invitational on Saturday, November 16, per Blue-White Illustrated. Additionally, Levi Haines and Shayne Van Ness will be competing in the NWCA All-Star Classic on the same day.

It will be another few weeks before the full Penn State schedule is released, but the opponents that have been announced so far are Drexel, Wyoming, American, Iowa, Michigan, Michigan State, and Maryland for the home slate in Happy Valley. The Nittany Lions will wrestle at Lehigh, Nebraska, Illinois, Ohio State, and Rutgers for its away matches.
