Gameday Coverage: No. 3 Penn State vs. Wisconsin

It’s back, folks.

After an idle week, No. 3 Penn State football is back in action on Saturday night against Wisconsin at Camp Randall Stadium.

Before Penn State faces a tough Wisconsin team riding a three-game win streak, here’s everything you need to know about Saturday’s primetime matchup.

Television

The Nittany Lions will make their second appearance on NBC this season for “Big Ten Saturday Night.” Noah Eagle will handle the play-by-play, while Todd Blackledge will be the analyst. Kathryn Tappen will provide coverage from the sideline.

Weather

Madison will be mostly sunny with a high of 66° on Saturday, according to AccuWeather. At game time, the temperature will drop into the 40s with wind gusts of up to 16 miles per hour.

Last Meeting

Penn State last faced Wisconsin in 2021. At the time, No. 16 Penn State upset No. 10 Wisconsin 16-10. The Nittany Lions lead the series 11-9.

Injuries

Besides the already-known, long-term injuries to KJ Winston, Andrew Rappleyea, and others, the Nittany Lions don’t have any new additions to the injury watch list for this week.

Kaden Saunders has dealt with an injury for the majority of this season and has missed the last two games, with Zion Tracy handling the punt return job.

Betting Lines

The Nittany Lions opened as 6.5-point favorites over Wisconsin on the road, according to DraftKings. The over/under is set at 48 points, and the initial money line was -238 in favor of Penn State.
