United Airlines Adds Flights To & From State College For College Football Playoff

United Airlines added 24 flights to and from host cities for the first round of the College Football Playoff it announced Wednesday morning. United added flights from Chicago, Washington, D.C., and Dallas for Penn State and SMU fans to purchase to get to rural State College. It also added return flights from State College to all three cities.

The added flights into State College are set for Friday, December 20, and return flights on Sunday, December 22.

The airline also added flights to and from South Bend, Indiana; Columbus, Ohio; and Austin, Texas — the three other schools hosting the first round of the playoffs.

Penn State is set to make its first appearance in the playoffs at noon on Saturday, December 21 against the Mustangs. The game will be broadcast on TNT.
