Report: Former Penn State Hoops Guard Mason Blackwood Transfers To St. Bonaventure

Headed back home.
Former Penn State men’s basketball guard Mason Blackwood is transferring to St. Bonaventure, per ESPN’s Pete Thamel. Blackwood has three years of eligibility remaining.
It was announced that Blackwood planned to enter the transfer portal on April 5. He averaged 2.6 points and 1.8 rebounds per game on 49.1% shooting from the field in his lone season in Happy Valley.
Blackwood committed to Penn State as a three-star recruit out of New Hampton High School in New Hampshire. Fellow freshman guard Kayden Mingo found his new home last week at Baylor.
