Saquon Barkley & Micah Parsons Named To 2025 NFL Pro Bowl

Former Penn State running back Saquon Barkley and linebacker Micah Parsons will represent the Nittany Lions in the 2025 Pro Bowl, the NFL announced on Thursday morning. Barkley and Parsons were voted in as “starters,” meaning they were among the top vote-getters at their respective positions.

For Barkley, this is his third Pro Bowl selection. This came after Barkley had a career season in his first year with the Philadelphia Eagles. Barkley ran for 2,005 rushing yards and became the ninth running back in NFL history to surpass 2,000 rushing yards. Despite having one more game left this regular season, it is highly expected that Barkley will come up short of Eric Dickerson’s rushing record as he is expected to rest in its final regular season game.

As for Parsons, this is his fourth consecutive Pro Bowl selection. Despite missing four games this season due to a high-ankle sprain, Parsons joined Mel Renfro as the only defensive players in Cowboys history to be named to the Pro Bowl in each of a player’s first four years in the league. He leads the team with 9.5 sacks and has forced two fumbles with one more regular season game left.

The 2025 Pro Bowl Games will kick off from Camping World Stadium on Sunday, February 2. The AFC will be coached by Peyton Manning, while the NFC squad will be led by Eli Manning.
