SPA To Host Stephen Nedoroscik For January 23 Lecture

Penn State’s Student Programming Association (SPA) announced it will host Penn State alum and Olympian Stephen Nedoroscik for a moderated conversation at 2 p.m. on Thursday, January 23, in the HUB’s Heritage Hall.

Nedoroscik became an internet sensation this summer as he helped the United States win its first men’s gymnastics team medal in 16 years in the 2024 Paris Olympics. The gymnast also won an individual bronze medal for the pommel horse. He started his journey on the Penn State men’s gymnastics team in 2017, becoming an NCAA champion.

Following his fame, he joined the cast of season 33 of “Dancing with the Stars”, finishing in fourth place. He’s currently on tour with “Dancing with the Stars: Live!” as a co-host and will appear with the show at the Bryce Jordan Center after the lecture on January 23.

Like every SPA event, the lecture is free for Penn State students and funded by their student-initiated fee. Students must RSVP through OrgCentral to enter the event.
