[Photo Story] Buffalo Wild Wings Lands In State College

After months of anticipation, Buffalo Wild Wings has officially opened its doors in downtown State College. The new restaurant, which welcomed its first customers on Tuesday, March 25, brings a fresh but familiar gameday destination to the heart of town, just a short walk from campus.

Boasting dozens of TVs, a full bar, and a menu stacked with fan-favorite wings and famous sauces, the newest addition to the downtown food scene is drawing crowds of students and locals eager to experience the buzz.

With its prime location on the ground floor of the Maxxen, the new Buffalo Wild Wings aims to become a go-to spot for Penn State fans to gather, whether it’s for a Saturday football showdown or just a casual night out with friends.

As customers poured in for the grand opening, the energy was electric — tables filled quickly, orders of wings and beer flowed steadily, and the unmistakable sound of sports commentary filled the air. Join us as we take you inside the new space and capture the excitement of its first days in Happy Valley.

The patio has extensive seating, perfect for when the weather gets warmer.

The whole place is packed with TVs and giant screens, perfect for game days or just casual boneless wings and beers with your boys (or girls).

The bar is fully stocked with liquor, local brews, and national classics so everyone can get what they want.

The bar features high ceilings to bring plenty of natural light in.

The bar’s memorabilia collection is extensive and gives plenty of places for the eyes to wander.

With ample seating, delicious food, and a lineup of live sports on every screen, Buffalo Wild Wings is the ideal spot to perch with friends after a long day.
