Yanic Konan Niederhauser Invited To NBA Draft Combine

Penn State men’s basketball center Yanic Konan Niederhauser was invited to the NBA Draft Combine after participating in the G League Elite this past weekend.

The invitation to the NBA Draft Combine in Chicago, Illinois comes after a strong performance in the G League Elite. Konan Niederhauser played two games during the camp tallying 17 points, four rebounds, and two blocks in the opening game. In the second game, he scored 14 points while grabbing eight rebounds.

Konan Niederhauser spent two seasons at Northern Illinois before transferring to Penn State last season. In his first season with the Nittany Lions, he averaged 12.9 points and 6.3 rebounds per game. After the season, he declared for the NBA Draft on April 2 while maintaining his college eligibility.

The NBA Draft Combine will take place from May 11-18. The Switzerland big man will continue the NBA Draft process, but he can still choose to return to the Nittany Lions next season if he withdraws from the NBA draft. He would have one year of eligibility remaining.
