Report: Slovenian Forward Tibor Mirtic Commits To Penn State Hoops

Penn State men’s basketball has gained a commitment from Slovenian prospect Tibor Mirtic, per The Daily Collegian.

The 6’8″ 22-year-old spent last season with KK Krka in the ABA League and went for 11.5 points and 4.1 rebounds per game.

Mirtic also suited up for the Slovenian Senior National Team in the Eurobasket Qualifiers, scoring 2.7 points per game across three outings. He has also played in four FIBA tournaments for Slovenian youth teams.

The Nittany Lions now have a 12-player roster with Mirtic’s commitment, and he becomes the third international recruit, alongside Ivan Juric and Melih Tunca.
