College GameDay Visiting Happy Valley For Penn State-Oregon

You know it’s a big game when College GameDay is coming to your city.

ESPN announced on Saturday, College GameDay, the famous college football pregame show, is returning to Happy Valley ahead of the Penn State-Oregon White Out game on September 27.

GameDay will be live from Old Main Lawn for the edition of the pregame show. It will be the first time Old Main has been the backdrop of the show since 2021.

GameDay visited Penn State last season for its matchup with Ohio State. The crew was located between the Bryce Jordan Center and Lot 41 outside of Beaver Stadium. The Nittany Lions lost the battle to the Buckeyes 20-13 during a noon kick on FOX.

Last season was the first time GameDay made a stop in Happy Valley in three years, the last being the 2021 White Out against Auburn. That trip was the fifth consecutive time ESPN’s premier pregame show aired from University Park.

The Penn State-Oregon showdown will be the Nittany Lions’ 12th time hosting GameDay. The crew has aired from Old Main, Hub Lawn, and Beaver Stadium in years past.

GameDay airs from 9 a.m. until noon on ESPN. Penn State and Oregon are slated for a 7:30 p.m. start on NBC.
