Kayla Treanor is finalizing her coaching staff.

Penn State women’s lacrosse announced the hire of Kerrigan Miller to its coaching staff ahead of the 2026 season on Tuesday.

Miller will take on the role of assistant coach with the Nittany Lions after two seasons at Virginia in the same role. The former midfielder played at USC and North Carolina during her collegiate career. Miller was the No. 1 recruit out of high school and brings four years of coaching experience to Happy Valley.

“We are thrilled to welcome Kerrigan Miller to our staff,” Treanor said in a press release. “She has championship experience at the highest level and brings a wealth of knowledge to our program. Her energy, expertise, and passion for the game will have an immediate impact on our team, and we couldn’t be more excited to have her at Penn State.”

Treanor is entering her first year at the helm of the women’s lacrosse team.
