Former Penn State Hoops Forward Zach Hicks Joins UCAM Murcia CB

Jumping from the hardwood and across the pond.

Former Penn State men’s basketball forward Zach Hicks signed with UCAM Murcia CB, a professional basketball club in Murcia, Spain, the team announced Saturday.

UCAM Murcia CB plays in the top-tier Liga ACB. The team also plays in the Champions League.

Hicks spent the summer with the Boston Celtics Summer League team. The Temple transfer went undrafted after spending two seasons with the Nittany Lions under Mike Rhoades.

The Camden, New Jersey, native appeared in 64 games as a Nittany Lion, averaging 10 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game. Hicks was best known for his ability to hit from the three-point line in his time in Happy Valley.
