El Jefe’s Taqueria To Donate October 14 Sales To THON 2026

Looking to grab a burrito and help fight childhood cancer at the same time? Look no further than El Jefe’s downtown.

El Jefe’s Taqueria will once again support Penn State’s fight against childhood cancer through its fourth annual El Jefe’s Taqueria Benefiting THON fundraiser. The event will run from 8 a.m. Tuesday, October 14, through 4 a.m. Wednesday. October 15.

Throughout the 20-hour fundraising period, 100% of the proceeds from in-store, online, DoorDash, and catering orders will be donated to THON. At checkout, customers can credit their purchase to specific orgs, committees, or IDCs by providing the name and number at the counter, or by emailing a photo of their receipt to [email protected]

Last year, El Jefe’s raised more than $33,000, and has pledged to continue the event until a cure for childhood cancer is found.

Orders placed between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m., as well as between 11 p.m. and 4 a.m., will also be eligible to win a $50 DoorDash gift card. To enter, participants can email a photo of their receipt along with their credited organization’s name and number to [email protected]
